Connecting your local Outlook client to Exchange

If it is your first time opening Outlook, skip to step 3.

  1. In Outlook , click File then Account Settings and then Account Settings again.
  2. Under the Email tab, click New.
  3. Select Email Account and fill in your personal information: Your Name, Email Address, Password, and click Next.
  4. If you get a pop-up asking if you want to proceed, select Yes.
  5. You may be prompted for your username and password again, be sure to check the Save box if you want to save the password
  6. Select Allow when prompted to configure email server settings and click Finish.
