Downloading and Registering the NimbusPhone Mobile App

Alltek's hosted VOIP solution comes with a mobile app (activated by Alltek for users who need this feature).

If you do not have the mobile app, create a ticket requesting access to the Nimbus app.

  1. Navigate to the App Store (for iPhone) or Play Store (for Android)
  2. Search for Nimbus or NimbusPhone
  3. Locate the NimbusPhone app developed by UC Apps and install the app on your phone
  4. Once you receive the activation email with the QR code, you can activate your app
    1. Open the activation email on your computer
    2. You may need to click an option to download or display images in the email to see the QR code
    3. Open the NimbusPhone app and tap the option to register with a QR code
    4. Allow access to your camera when prompted
    5. Point the camera at the QR code in the email on your computer screen
    6. Your NimbusPhone app will automatically register
  5. Note that if you get a new phone, you will generally need to re-activate the NimbusPhone app. Open a ticket with Alltek to receive a new QR code if you do not still have the original activation email.
